The original website was created by an individual that worked for a software company, the domain for CottageLinens.com has been purchased, and is used for all new marketing material, advertisements etc. The new website will be launched under with URL CottageLinens.com, as ."com" is usually associated with commercial businesses.
The Domain Authority is 22/100, this predicts the ranking potential in search engines. The DA as Moz refers to it is based on the websites age, popularity, size. With that information, 22 seems very low the company has been in business for twelve years, which leads me to conclude that popularity and size is what is driving the number lower. The website has virtually been untouched since its first unveiling 12 years ago, with the exception to add linking domain supporters.
The PA or page authority is higher at 35/100. Page Authority was created by Google and it is based on links pointing to that site. This also seems low considering how many local and reputable businesses link to the Cottage Linens site, which is what Google likes to see. Cottage Linens appeared at number one for the Organic Search, then reappeared in 2nd and 4th position, Pratt Abbott was not listed in the top 10.
I looked into keyword suggestions listed on Moz and found "bed linen rental Maine", Cottage Linens and Bayside Linens had zero monthly volume. However, VRBO was the highest in monthly volume services. The number of 300K-1.5M searching for VRBO is worth looking into, I would like to add VRBO to Cottage Linens Google Ad Words campaign.
Recommendations for the 3rd ranked website Ciao Baby, its obvious the site is new, as it has "NEW!" before Ciao.
My suggestion would be more reputable links.
